The history of Olympic Games is very long it begins from ancient Greece till nowadays .The ancient Greeks were fighting in sports because of Zeus.There were only one sport running , and only one prize Nobody knows what kind of prize it was , but the names of the winners are in the history Olympic forever . It was the name sportsmen. The ancient Greeks were fond of sport . They said « The man must be strong . Women couldn’t take part in this competition . This competition was only for men.

The revival of the Olympic Games is connected with the name of French aristocrat – Baron de Coubertin . Beginning from his youth he took an active part in sport . But he was not only a sportsman , he was a politician and a wise man .During the Games in ancient Greece all the wars were stopped . And it was the main thing for Pierre de Coubertin . Two weeks without war, it’s not so much , but it is not little for people to live in piece at this time.
