- Creation of the center for transport and logistics in the territory of the FEZ “Grodnoinvest” -

The idea of the project:Creation of the center for transport and logistics in the territory of the FEZ “Grodnoinvest” to service, process and dispatch goods by air, railway and automotive transport, as well as construction of a regional center for trade and exhibition.

(12 500 containers and 250 trains per year)

- Creation of the TLC in the FEZ “Grodnoinvest”

The following stages of the project realization are supposed:I: construction of a terminal for cargo transshipment in the station Bruzgi region (outside the FEZ territory, non-dangerous goods);

II: construction of a terminal for goods processing, labeling and sorting in Auls region of the FEZ “Grodnoinvest” (total area of the land plot – 16 hectares, with the container station adjoined) with the use of the container station abilities;

III: construction of a terminal for goods processing, labeling and sorting in Auls region of the FEZ “Grodnoinvest”, total area of the land plot – 60 hectares);

IV: the involvement of the international airport “Grodno” (creation of handling terminal, terminal for goods processing, labeling and sorting);

V: construction of a regional center for trade and exhibition near the international airport “Grodno” (Grodno region, Obuchovo village).

-Advantages of the project realization in the FEZ “Grodnoinvest”:-

A unified customs territory started functioning within the borders of the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan. Commodities circulate without customs payments in this territory, no quotas and non-tariff regulations are applied. There is the possibility to use the procedure of free customs zone (without import customs duties paid) in the territory of the FEZ “Grodnoinvest”.

Enactment of an agreement developing near-border cooperation will open possibilities for profitable common use of Grodno airport by Belarus, Poland and Lithuania. The agreement will favor the attraction of major world air companies to perform international passenger transportation through Grodno.

There is the international highway M-6 Warsaw-Grodno-Minsk-Moscow situated in the vicinity of the land plots. The cargo railway station “Auls” with a high-capacity (20 t) container terminal and railways of Western (7 km away from the land plot) and Eastern gage is situated in land plot №1.The land plots are provided with electricity, gas and water supply. There is the Grodno airport located 10 km away from the land plot.

- IV stage: creation of the center for transport and logistics in the region of the international airport “Grodno”-

A land plot with a total area of 25,6 hectares was reserved for the realization of stage IV of construction of the center for transport and logistics in the territory of the FEZ “Grodnoinvest” in the international airport “Grodno” region. The international airport “Grodno is allowed to provide international flights and is supplied with customs, frontier and sanitary service points, a network of customs and commercial warehouses with possibilities to handle, store and dispatch goods. International airways connecting Northern and Western Europe with the countries of Central and South-Eastern Asia pass through the airport and it is possible to accommodate the airplanes of the following types: II-76, Tu-737-800, Boeig-57-200, A-320, etc.

-V stage: Creation of a regional center for trade and exhibition in the international airport “Grodno” area (Grodno region, Obuchovo village) -

It is supposed that the construction of the exhibition center will allow to hold exhibitions and business events of the European class of different scales and levels of complexity, and also allow to associate them with the bordering states events.

The purpose of the construction of a regional center for trade and exhibition is to strengthen the cooperation of frontier regions of Belarus, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia and to expand trade, economic, scientific and technological connections between them.

In order to carry out the project there is a territory of 17 hectares provided with all the required engineering services (electricity, gas, water, sewage). It is situated in the international airport “Grodno” region near the international highway M6 Warsaw-Grodno-Minsk-Moscow.

In this territory there is an unfinished air terminal pitched (a building land plot of 1,1443 hectares of total area, building height – 3-9 floors, facility readiness – 45%, asphalt coating – 8250 m2, with water, sewage, electricity).
