The programmatic and formal elements of this performing arts center mediate several site driven forces - between shifting scales and speeds of the surrounding context. An organic spine traveling through the site defines spatial organization, bridging with an external secondary system - a reading of the urban context.

ARCHITECTURE AS GRAFFITIPOP UP PERFORMANCE SPACESCrItIC: PEtEr MACAPIA sPrIng 2012
An urban intervention and exploring architecture as graffiti – unauthorized, unsolicited and transient. The narrative is an apt response to our contemporary urban climate - a city in flux defined by media in the digital age, constantly challenging our understanding of mobility and social engagement. How do you create significance in architecture without permanence?

Collaborative studio responding to tropical climates in the Florida Keys and programmatic requirements of a visitor’s center on a state park.
This project brings together educational facilities with water recreation. The building extends over the water creating a water courtyard and entrances one can access from the water. Fluidity, and seamlessness are inspirations to the form, program and light experiences.

Located across from the new Museum in SoHo, nY, a floating facade create the illusion of a continuous opening that masterfully enlarges this boutique’s visual street presence while flooding light into the space. The effect is achieved by opening up the existing building and entirely reengineering the exterior wall.
The interior space features an atelier and a showroom, along with details and materiality, cater to the brand’s focus on personalized consultations.
