At least 2 years’ FTE practise experience as a community organiser, using a recognised and reputable community organising model or process

Experience and knowledge of North Halifax wards of Ovenden, and Illingworth & Mixenden

Understanding of local issues and policy

Experience of managing budgets Experience of working with statutory

sector and businessesEducation and qualifications

Hold a recognised Qualification or accreditation in community organising at Level 2 (or above) or be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the theory of community organising through completing a written assignment.
