WEDNESDAY’S ! !This year we will be implementing something new here at the Roosevelt Middle School. Every Wednesday from 3:00-3:30 PM, students will participate in “WIN WEDNESDAY.” This will be an enrichment time as well as an opportunity for students to meet with teachers in classes where they are behind, need additional help etc. In addition we will be offering several enrichment opportunities for students whether that is a reading mentorship program with K-3 students, Math Counts, Science Olympiad, Club and Student Council activities etc. WIN WEDNESDAY’S is designed to give students the opportunity to ensure success and achievement this year here at Roosevelt Middle School!

!!!!!!!BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT OPEN HOUSE!Come  join  us  on  Wednesday,  September  9th  at  6:00  PM  for  our  “Back  to  School  Night”  open  house.  This  is  a  chance  to  have  some  food,  meet  the  RMS  staff  and  get  a  feel  for  the  environment  and  culture  here  at  Roosevelt  Middle  School!  !

GET INVOLVED AND VOLUNTEER It   is   our   belief   that   the   best   schools   have   great  communicaGon   and   relaGonships   with   parents   and   the  community,   as   well   as   great   help   from   the   parents   and  community.   We   would   love   to   have   great   volunteer  support  from  our  parents!    We  will  be  providing  to  you  a  list   showing   different   ways   you   can   jump   on   board   and  help   here   at   Roosevelt  Middle   School.     If   you   have   any  quesGons   regarding   the   volunteer   program   do   not  hesitate   to   call   Kathy   Sommerfeld   or  myself   here   in   the  office.    Your  support  is  greatly  appreciated  and  has  a  great  affect  on  your  child’s  educaGon  and  success!
