The Comprehensive Personnel Manual of theCity of Mt. Vernon

The ordinance covers employees, officers, independentcontractors and consultants. It contains Anti Nepotismprovisions, hours for full and part time employees,compensatory time and prohibits receiving gratuities. Italso establishes a drug free work place, sets forth holidays,vacation time, sick leave and other leave. It sets forth awage schedule, expenses reimbursement as well asGrievance Procedures and Personnel Classification.
