Welcome to the Standards-based Report Card Administrator’s Guide

This guide is intended to supplement the User’s Guide to the Standards-based Report Card System. It is designed to highlight the features of the system available only to school administrators.

This guide covers the following features:

How to run a school-wide summary report

How to print the paper Report Cards and Interim Progress Reports

Review Interim Reporting by grade

The Login Screen

Enter your iNotes

username and password.

Click “Sign in.”

Printing Report Cards

On the Desktop Menu

Select the Print Menu link.

This is the print report cards menu.

You may select to print report cards or interim

progress reports.

Loading Report Card Paper

Identify and locate Lanier copier.

Loading Report Card Paper

Load paper with dark district logo face down and to the back of the paper tray.

Load 11 x 17” colored paper into 11 x 17” paper tray.

Marking Period

1st = Pink

2nd = Blue

3rd = Green

4th = Yellow

Report Card paper is color-coded by marking period.

Remember the dark logo is now face down and to the back of the drawer

Printing Report Cards

Make homeroom selections to prepare computer and copier

for printing.

Printing Report Cards

You have an option of generating report cards by

homeroom (up to 3 for each run) in either English

or Spanish.

A report card may also be generated for a specific

student by entering student id number.

The system will generate reports for those selected

homerooms. When complete, a new browser

window will pop up.

Use the print icon to print the report cards.

After clicking on the print icon, this window comes

up.

You must set the properties of the printer before the report cards

will print properly.

Click on the Properties button at the top.

Orientation = Landscape

Collate = Off

Layout = 1 page per sheet

Set document size = 11 x 17”

Check off Fit to print Size

Print Size = 11 x 17

Click the “OK” button to return

to printing screen.

Click OK to print.

Click the picture below the school administration text.

Select an option by clicking on the little circle next to the feature that you

wish to view. Then click the “OK”

button.

Updating Student’s Second Language

Select the second language drop down box and choose the student’s language—i.e. Spanish, Russian, Chinese, etc.

Select save changes.

The School Summary Report

Use the scroll bar to see the entire

report.

Note the buttons on the bottom of the

page including one which allows the ability to print this

report.

Click the picture below the school counselor text.

You may promote the individual, select their

second language, request a conference, and make comments.

You may choose to either review by classes or by

homeroom.

Select School Administration Icon.

Report can be sent to the printer or saved.

Please Note! All Interims should be done at the time of printing.

Reports.

Interim Progress Reports can be printer on 8 ½” x 11” paper.

The intervention tracking system is based on the CMSD’s PROMOTION POLICY.*

*Refer to pages 22-23 in “Implementing Standards-Based Education & Promotion Teacher Guide to ECC.desktop” .

Call the Help Desk at 432-6232 for iNotes username or password help

arrow and click on choice.

Click to see interventions assigned to students.

A multi-paged pdf document will appear

indicating the reasons and suggested interventions to take place.

The pdf document can be saved or printed as you so desire.

Select the School

ADDING INTERVENTIONS

Click Add/Edit Interventions

Begin checking off available

intervention programs at your

school.

Be sure to SAVE when complete.

Once interventions have been added/edited, staff may begin Requesting Interventions.

After all interventions have been requested, the administrator or designee may begin the approval process.

Approval or denial of an intervention request is done

quickly by grade level.

A complete listing of requested interventions for that grade level will appear.

The status column will indicate an intervention has been requested.

Click on Approve or Deny

Remember to SAVE!

A listing of teachers will appear.

Select a teacher.

An Administrator may also request interventions for students for a particular teacher or class.

Click on Request

Intervention.

Teacher name and courses

assigned appear along

with homeroom.

Select a course to work with.

All of the students of the selected class will be shown with identified reason for intervention(s).

Click “Edit” to assign, delete or approve/deny interventions.

additional interventions.

SAVE

Click to go back to the student listing.

Clicking on “Back” takes you back to the student listing for that class.
