• Verification of destruction method and safety procedures.

• Destruction by Electrical Method.

• Preparation of demolition pits.• Mine AP PROM 1: 160 mines/pit.• Mine AP PAM 2 : 500 mines/pit.• Mine AP PMA 3 : 700 mines/pit.

• Mines and cables laid for disposal.

• Safety Checked by Safety Officer.

• Personnel Retreat To Safe Area.

• Connection of Cable Under Safety Officer’s Instruction.

• Firing Order Issued.

• Pit Inspected.

• Destruction Completed.

CONCLUSION

• Destruction of Stockpile At The 3 Selected Demolition Ranges Was Successfully Conducted.

• Financial Implications Total RM 6.98 mil (USD 1.84 mil).

• NGO Representatives From Land Mines Ban Research and Advocacy (Bangkok) and Philippine Campaign on Land Mines Ban Were Present To Witness.

• Malaysia Completed The Obligation Under Article 4.
