FOS… the last five years

FOS goals have not been met for the last 5 years
Research shows…
•FOS is supposed to provide 25% of the Council Revenue Budget• $175 per family is an ancient number
•Only one in three families contributed to FOS in 2014
•The “Ask” would only be $85/Family if every family contributed
•198 of the 440 traditional units didn’t participate in FOS 49 of these flat out refused to have it presented
•Many didn't know FOS funds stay local and support: Unit Insurance, training, program development, thousands of at risk youth
•Inconsistencies Council wide in presenting & processing
