Speaking II
Matthew 7: 1Do not judge, or you too will be
judged.
Matthew 7: 1-57 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
StoryWhen Susan Boyle auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent everybody expected her to fail.
Susan however excelled.
A great reminder that we are gifted and we should not judge others.
When we see somebody is not good looking, we would say he will never have a lover.
When we see somebody is not wearing nice clothes, we would say that he is poor.
When we see somebody rarely smiles, we would say that he is not good.
When we see somebody often cries, we would say that he is a cry baby, that he could not handle
even the smallest problem.
When we see somebody gets a low grade, we would say that he is stupid.
When we see somebody often smiles, we would say that he is nice.
Just on how many things that we would use to judge others.
Just for how long would we always seek for the other’s mistakes and consider
ourselves as a perfect being, that we are superior whilst we are actually nothing?
Since if we compare the Earth with the stars, our Earth is just like a dot.
If the Earth is a dot among the stars, then where would we be? We are nothing compared to
anything.
ConclusionWe are all the same in GOD’s eyes.
He loves every one of us.
He created us in His own image.
He died in the Calvary only for saving us from sin.
Everybody is precious for Him.
Everybody is equal.
Everybody gets his own talent and potential to be whatever he desire.
We never have the right to judge other people.
AppealWould you open up your heart for the Holy Spirit to come in, to work
in your heart, thus you will live with the same character like
Jesus?
And one of the characters is, of course, not judging others.
