• Anamorphosis: (from the Greek word for “Transform”)– Distort an image in a way that makes the image

clear from an alternate view

• Trompe l’oeil (convince the viewer, even momentarily, that the fictitious representation is real)

Assignment

• Using both Anamorphosis and Trompe l’oeil, design a 2-Dimensional drawing that gives the illusion of being 3-Dimensional

• You can use any techniques that are taught in class OR you can use any techniques that you research on your own
