Attention Trails Partners: Southern Maryland Trails has puttogether a special advertising campaign to encourage visitorsthroughout Maryland and beyond to visit all the SouthernMaryland Trails sites for their summer and fall getaways and“explore the freshest food, finest art and the special beautythat Southern Maryland has to offer.”
We will be supporting all our Trails participants with severalads throughout the year. In addition, we are offering an excitingopportunity to take advantage of affordable advertising inupscale tourism and lifestyle magazines. Maximize your mediaexposure by joining with other Trails sites and enjoy the addedbenefits of Southern Maryland Trails superior ad design andquality graphics in full color for a fraction of the price.
The campaign will be featured in 2 upscale publicationsGrapevine Magazine and Maryland Life. You may advertisewith us in one issue or several, with ads priced at $300 or$900 with no additional production costs.
Grapevine Magazine and Maryland Life are very visual andinviting magazines and are perfectly suited to our Trailsparticipants with feature writing that strikes a balance betweenentertaining and informative capturing the essence of ourregion and motivating readers to experience it for themselves.Both magazines are bi-monthly publications with articles ofimmediate and ongoing interest; readers hold on to theirmagazines for long periods, extending the seasonal potentialfor your featured advertisements.
Grapevine is an award winning bi-monthly, multi-state, regional publicationwith an emphasis on leisure and destination travel. Regular features includearticles on fine dining, the arts, wine, highlighting interesting people andoutdoors activities. With a rapidly growing circulation of 40,000 copies perissue, Grapevine reaches audiences in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia,Pennsylvania and Washington DC. We have reserved 2 (TWO) full color center spreads in GrapevineMagazine (two pages per spread). The cost per spread is $4200. We wouldlike to offset the cost by sharing space with individual Trails partners.
Each spread will include a “shell” with text and photos related to the Trails ingeneral, and 8 (eight) insert ads highlighting individual Trails partners. Eachindividual ad will be 2.3” x 4.6” and cost per partner will be $300 perrun.
The first spread will run in the July/Aug. 2006 issue. The theme of that issuewill be Summer Explorations with features on couples getaways, family fun onthe farm, and in-home chefs.
The second spread will run in the Sept./Oct 2006 issue. The theme will beAutumn Trails with features on wine festivals, elegant lodge weekends, andartists’ studio tours.
You may place your ad in one or both issues. ($300 or $600) This is a full colorad in an up-scale publication. The Trails will provide design services for eachindividual ad. Maryland Life is a premier tourism magazine with print run of over 56,000copies distributed to retail locations throughout the state and is dedicated topresenting readers with all that is fascinating, exciting and unique in our area.Maryland Life offers regular features on day trips, dining, family travel, naturalresources and interesting people doing amazing things.
We have reserved 2 (TWO) single page, full color ads in Maryland Life.Total cost per page is $3210. We would like to offset the cost by sharing spacewith individual Trails partners.
