Arrival/DismissalArrivalThe cafeteria is open for breakfast at 8:45. Children not eating breakfast should not arrive prior to 9:00. The tardy bell rings at 9:20. Please make sure your child arrives on time.DismissalYour child must be dismissed from the office. If youneed to check your child out early, please go to the office and the secretary will notify me in the classroom. If your child’s transportation changes, please send a note or call the office.
Thursday FoldersA Thursday folder will be sent home with
each child every Thursday. This folder will be
usedfor sending home notes, lunch charges,
behaviorcalendars, and completed work.Please sign and return the behavior
calendar andthe empty folder the next school day.These papers will keep you apprised of
your child’s progress.
Recess/MedicationsDue to early recess time and changes in the weather, please make sure your child is dressedappropriately. Write your child’s name on coats and gloves. School policy states that children will beoutside if the temperature is between 32 and 94degrees.
A Parent Medication Form must be filled out beforethe medication can be dispensed. School policy states all medications must be stored in the office.
SnacksThe second grade students at Santa Fe eat lunch at11:20 a.m. We have an early lunch and many studentsneed a snack in the afternoon.
Please help with snacks when it is convenient for you.Your child’s name will be written on the snack and will be stored until he/she may pass them out to everyone.Please send snacks for 22 students.

Parent Portal SupportIf you are the parent or guardian of a 2nd – 12th gradestudent in Moore Public Schools and you do not have a Parent Portal account, visit your child’s school to obtainan activation code. Using a portal account, you will beable to see your child’s assignments, grades and attendance from any computer with internet access.
How To Get an AccountYou must have a photo ID and visit your child’s school
toreceive an activation code.
Scholastic Book OrdersScholastic book orders will be sent home monthly. If you choose to order, please send the completed orderform with a check payable to Scholastic. Cash is alsoaccepted. If you prefer, orders may also be placed online. A letter is attached to your child’s first bookorder.
