- Fill a financial need- Fill an emotional need- Fill a physical need

Kinder and Gentler Gentleness – “Exhibiting controlled

strength.”- Christ was gentle with the Samaritan woman- Christ was gentle with the woman taken in adultery

2Timothy 2:24,25 (ESV)24 And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth.

1Peter 3:98 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; 9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

Kinder and Gentler How might we show gentleness?

- Console a distraught child- Forgiving a mistake- Empathy for the sinner

Galatians 6:1Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.
