VANDALISM.

By:HMCN

Our app is here to help the residents of many communities

and will help many people improve the environment look more presentable by allowing people with phones to use their GPS and send a message to the council with their location of

something which has been vandalised or has graffiti etc.

Many teenagers and children hang around the streets, and they sometimes leave litter and graffiti. This is what our app

is for, it won’t stop the teenagers hanging around there, but it will clean up after them and keep your community looking

clean.

Our core question is - How do you keep your community

looking tidy?

We spoke to parents and they said, it would be nice if their children could go to a park without litter and graffiti.

Our team, HCMN, is developing a Mobile app to help the public who live in untidy areas, by allowing people to report vandalism using GPS so that they can live in a presentable

area.

Many adults and parents don’t like taking their children to untidy vandalised parks and all the

damaged equipment.

We discovered that there is no app like ours, even the professional we spoke to on Skype said she doesn’t think

there is either.

Our app is here to sort out vandalism, graffiti, Litter, fly tipping.

Victoria is a single mum and she likes to take her 4 year old daughter to her local park. Every time she goes, there is

always litter and graffiti. The swings also get vandalised. She just wants to go to a pleasant looking park.

Our user feedback was quite interesting, many said they would expect it free, but others said £0.69 - £1.99.You just go

straight onto the app and choose your problem which will then link you to a camera which allows you to take a picture

of it and then takes you to an email and you may add additional text and your problem will be sent to the council

straight away they act upon this within 2-3 weeks.

This is our home screen which allows you to choose your problem.

This is our camera screen which allows you to take a photo of the problem.

This is our Email screen which allows you to add the photo in and add additional text and send it to the council.

Our app will use GPS to report the location of the vandalism. We are going to get our app to ask if the app can use your

current location. If this is not given by the user then our app will not proceed as it will not be able to track the location of

the event being reported. All submissions will also ask for an email address to show that the person reporting it can be

contacted and to try and avoid people sending false messages.

Our business model received fifteen customer pledges in total, and of them fifteen, 75% said they are willing to pay a small amount toward

our app.

We will advertise our app by sending out leaflets to primary schools and secondary

schools. Asking to put it on council and police websites.Visiting local schools.

When we were on skype to the expert, she said that our app

is unique and there is no app like it.
