Minimize time in the sun between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. when UV rays are the strongest.

Use sun protection even on overcast days. Water, sand and concrete can reflect and increase the sun's burning rays.

Be pet aware.

Pets don’t always like hugs. Teach children how to safely approach a pet.

Ask permission first before touching a pet.

Be involved online together.

Watch for signs that your child may be the target of cyberbullies.
