HAPPY 2016!

Letter from the Editor

HAPPY 2016! I hope everyone had great holidays and I look forward to what 2016 has in store for everyone! The holiday party was a hit and brought smiles to all regardless of the snowy weather. The holidays can become hectic and I’m sure everyone is ready (if not done already) to get back into a normal routine.

We have some great events planned in the next few months for you to take a break from studying/work. From bowling, to a cooking class, to the annual showcase; we’ll have great events for everyone to have fun and enjoy 2016. See you there!

Look for save the dates in your email and updates on the website calendar for the annual NDID Showcase. It will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at the Plains Art Museum. More information coming soon!

Jo is busy planning a cooking class for our March event. The cookie baking at the holiday party a couple of years ago was such a hit that we thought a cooking class would be a great interactive event. Look for more information in the coming weeks on this.

HOLIDAY PARTY AT JW KITCHENS

The 2015 holiday party was hosted at JW Kitchens in West Fargo this year. Appetizers and drinks were on hand as we split into 3 groups and enjoyed 3 different stations throughout the night. The 3 stations included:

Chef: Sara Ries

Making baked brie, salmon and a holiday drink.

Crafter: Lexie Rundquist

Making a holiday “Joy” craft (pictured above).

Florist: Pam

Instructing on how to make

decorations for the holidays.

A huge thank you to JW Kitchens owner Audrey Wadsworth Newman, Showroom manager Errin Bjerke & all the staff at JW Kitchens for making it such a great event!

Thank you to the committee for making this all happen!
