To register for camp, please come by the Jefferson County Extension Office at 2729 W Washington Hwy or call us at 850-342-0187. We will mail the packets per your request or they are available online at jefferson.ifas.ufl.edu
Day camp fees are due when registration forms have been completed. Overnight Camp Cherry Lake deposit is due when registration packet has been completed. Fees and deposits are non-refundable.
Must be of age requirement on
September 1, 2017 for all camps.
The 4-H Office is located 3 miles west of
the courthouse circle on HWY 90 West.
Look for the blue and white UF IFAS
Extension near the wooden fence.
We are open from 8:00 - 5:00 each
day Monday through Friday.

Limit of 25 participants Cost: $35.00
Activities include: Golden Acres Ranch Outdoor Cookery MaClay Gardens State Park - Swimming Fishing - Beau Turner Conservation Center
Cooking 101 Day Camp (W-F) June 13 – 15, 2018
8am—noon Ages 9 – 11
Cost $30 Limit of 12 participants
Activities include: Measuring and cooking skills Prepare simple meals and snacks Eat dishes they’ve prepared! Take home their own kitchen tools
Camp Real Life (M-T) June 18 - 19
9am—3pm Ages 14 – 19
Cost $20
Learn skills you will need as an adult through hands on funshops and a real life simulation.

Camp Show Me the Money! (M-W) July 23 – 25
8am – noon Ages 8 – 10
Cost $35 Limit of 12 participants
Activities include: Open a savings account ($10 of
registration fee goes to savings account) Tour of local bank Learn how to spend and save wisely
through hands on activities and games! Create Your Own Piggy Bank Contest!
Camp Money Maker
(Th - F) July 26 - 27 8am – noon (Th) 8am – 3pm (F)
Ages 8 – 11 Cost $15
Limit of 8 participants
Activities include: Learn about running a business,
customer service, and more! Visit a local business & meet the owner! Campers will plan, buy supplies, and run
their own lemonade stand for a day.
Cooking 201 Day Camp (Th-F) August 2 – 3, 2018
8am – 3pm Cost $25
Ages 10 - 12 Limit of 9 participants
Activities include: Learning Level 2 cooking skills Meal Planning Prepare (and eat!) meals and snacks Take home their own kitchen tools Tour of local food establishment
4-H Camp Cherry Lake Over Night Camp
Ages 8 - 18 Counselors Ages 14 - 18
Limited to 120 participants June 25 - June 29, 2018
Cost—$65.00 4-H Camp Cherry Lake is a week over-
night camp. Camp theme is
"MEDIEVAL”
Monday- campers get settled into
cabins, get to know your cabin mates
and a test of your swimming ability.
Tuesday—Thursday - campers sign
up for educational classes. Campers
will also participate in traditional ac-
tivities such as swimming, organized
recreation, fishing, boating on a
pontoon boat, canoeing, board games,
camp store time, and some free time.
Tuesday - is the night of camp songs,
campfire and roasting wieners.
Wednesday - evening at Fun Station.
Thursday night dance, alternative
activities, power point slide highlight-
ing activities for the week.
Friday - time for saying goodbye to
new friends.
Outdoor Recreation Day Camp
Ages 10 - 15 (M-F) July 9-13, 2018 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Limit of 30 participants
Cost: $35.00
The Jefferson/Leon Multi-County Day Camp
teaches campers to be environmental
stewards by respecting and protecting our
environment.
Camp activities includes Forestry,
Conservation, Wildlife, Archery, and Air
Rifles Monday -Wednesday. On Thursday
campers will travel to Piney Z Plantation/Lake
Lafayette Heritage Park for Fishing, Seining
and Canoeing.
Friday is a day of fun with campers competing
in Archery, Air Rifles, and Casting contests, a
cook out for lunch, and award ceremony with
Sno-Cones.
5 - 7 Year Old Day Camp

July 17-20, 2018 (T-Th) 8:00 - 12:00 noon
