2019 “Future U.S Nurse Scholarship” Program
TravelNurseSource is awarding a $2000.00 scholarship to a nursing student who creates a
compelling selfie video for our online scholarship contest.
To be eligible for this nurse scholarship program, you must be:
1. A legal U.S., resident,
2. An undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing at an accredited U.S.
nursing school,
3. 18 years of age or older, and
4. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better
Please note that past winners of the TravelNurseSorce”Furure U.S. Nurse “Future U.S.
Scholarship are not eligible to apply. Video entries to the “Future U.S. Nurse Scholarship are not
eligible to apply. Videos entries to the “Future U.S. Nurse Scholarship” from previous years will
not be considered.
Applicants can use their cell phone or laptop to create a selfie video that is under two minutes
long. Applicants must include the following:

Submit your video through our submission form along with your name, email, school, and a
clear headshot of yourself no smaller than 200 pixels (width). The image file must be in .PNG or

Proof of enrollment, which can be an unofficial transcript or an official enrollment
verification form.

How will We Select a Winner?
All videos that meet the above requirements will go on to an online completion where finalists
can rally the public to vote for their favorite story. TravelNurseSource will the top five videos
with the most votes to determine a winner. TravelNurseSource will award the scholarship base
on:
The applicant who most creatively and passionately conveys their desire to become a
nurse
The applicant’s financial need
A letter of recommendation
GPA

At the conclusion of the online completion, one winner will be notified by phone and email.

receive $2000.00 toward his or her next semester of college. The will must provide proof of
enrollment prior to disbursement of the award, contact information for the school, and proof

AES Scholarship
AES Engineering is pleased to be able to continue offering scholarships to motivated students to
help in the furthering of their education.
Scholarship Criteria--Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the
only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason, we are offering a
scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of
the essays that are submitted.

BEA Scholarships in Broadcasting & Electronic Media
The Broadcast Education Association (BEA) is the premier international academic media
organization, promoting insights, excellence in media production, and career advancement for
educators, students, and professionals. BEA administers scholarships annually, to honor
broadcasters and the entire electronic media profession. The BEA Founders Awards are for
students enrolled in a BEA 2-Year member institution or graduates of these programs now
enrolled in a BEA 4-Year institution. Other scholarships are awarded to juniors, seniors and/or
graduate students at BEA member institutions – unless otherwise noted in the descriptions
listed below.
Scholarship recipients will be announced in late November, and the money will be awarded in
the summer of 2020, to be applied to the 2020-2021 academic year. PILOT Media Technology
recipients will receive their scholarship checks in late March.
All scholarships require the same hard copy application EXCEPT the PILOT Media Technology

AmericanMuscle Student Scholarships are non-renewable, however, winning applicants may re-

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and students currently

I'm an international student. Can I apply?

Should I apply early?
All applications are reviewed at the same time after the application closing date. We do not
give preference to applicants who submit early, but we do encourage you to prepare your
application early so you don't miss the deadline.
When will I know the result?
Winners will be announced 2 weeks after the application deadline. Look out for an email from

I applied last term. Can I re-apply this term?

highly esteemed pioneer in the areas of photographic sensitometry, colorimetry, and
microphotography.

Basis of Selection
This scholarship is given to an advanced-level undergraduate or a graduate student with an
academic and/or research focus in a field related to imaging.
Eligibility
The applicant must be an undergraduate who has completed two academic years of study or a
graduate-level student. He or she must be a full-time student at an accredited institution
pursuing an academic degree. The acceptance of this scholarship does not preclude the
acceptance of additional fellowships, assistant positions, scholarships, or similar awards. The
Society may bypass the award if there is no candidate judged suitable by the committee.
Applicants do not have to be members of IS&T.
Application
Applications for the scholarship are submitted to the Honors and Awards Committee.
Frequency of Award:
One or more awards are made annually, depending on available funds. Scholarship funding
comes from interest earned on the restricted Davis Scholarship endowment.
Form of Award
A certificate and grant of at least $1,000 are given to recipients of this award
Employment BOOST $1,000 College Scholarships
High school students who have been accepted to college and students who are currently
enrolled in a college or university are eligible to apply for the Employment BOOST college
scholarship program. Additionally, the following criteria must be met for a student to be eligible
to apply:

Students must be currently enrolled in a U.S.-based high school or college. Students
graduating from high school must plan to attend college during the fall semester in the
same year as the application.
Eligible colleges include two-year and four-year universities in the United States.
Students who apply must have a minimum GPA of 3.6. Current (unofficial) transcripts
must be sent with the application.
High school students who are applying must have a letter of acceptance from the college
they intend to attend. A copy of this letter must be included in the application.
One letter of reference must be included in the application. This letter must come from
one of the following sources: a current or former teacher of the student, or a current or
former employer of the student.
In addition to these requirements, students applying for each scholarship must submit a 500- to
1,000-word essay. The essay requirements depend on the major the student plans on studying
or is currently studying in college.
Students who are applying for the $1,000 college scholarship that is open to any major
must write an essay based on the poem “Howl,” Part 1, by Allen Ginsberg. You can find
the poem here. Carefully read the poem, and use your interpretation of the poem to
write an essay that explains what message you believe the writer was trying to convey in
the poem. Include what the poem means to you, and why the poem is relevant for
today’s society.
Students majoring in business or a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, or
math) must write an essay based on this prompt: “How is technology going to change
your way of life in 15 years?” Your response can include thoughts on subjects ranging
from work to home and personal life.
Contact information of the student who is applying, including full name, address, phone
number, email address, and intended or current major should be included on each page
of the essay. The same contact information must be included on the letter of reference
from the person who is writing the letter.

Applications are accepted year-round, with quarterly deadlines of April 1st, July 1st, October
1st, and January 1st and must be received within the time frame to be considered eligible to be
awarded that quarter. Scholarship awards must be used for the following semester of each year
in which they are received.
Financial aid winners will be notified by the contact information provided, by phone and email.
Winners will receive a $1,000 check that may be used to cover college or university education
expenses of the student’s choice.
Past winners are not eligible to apply after they have won. Applicants who did not win are
eligible to reapply the following year. Applicants who do not win will not be notified, but you

We are pleased to announce that we have increased the Fashion Scholarship Fund award tiers.

FSF FINALISTS: eight finalists chosen based on top scoring cases will receive awards up
to $35,000
FSF NON FINALISTS: scholars who are not selected as 2020 finalists win from $5,000 to
$10,000 based on their scores
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. Scholarships are solely merit based. The Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) is looking for
the “best and brightest” students who are driven to work in the fashion industry either
in a creative or business capacity.
2. An applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student for the Fall 2019 semester at an
FSF member school. The full list of member schools can be found under the Member
Schools tab on this site.
3. Minimum overall G.P.A. of 3.20 in a 4.00 G.P.A. system.
4. Sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to compete. Please note, Fall 2019
freshmen are not eligible.
5. Seniors graduating mid-year, December 2019 or January 2020 may compete.
6. Students meeting the eligibility requirements above are encouraged to reapply for the
FSF Scholarship each year.
WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?
Chance to win a scholarship award up to $35,000
Scholarship money may be applied to any educational expense such as tuition, summer
housing for an internship, study abroad program, etc. Some member schools apply
scholarships directly to the student's financial aid award.
MENTORING
Scholarship winners are invited to attend the annual Awards Gala on Wednesday,
January 7, 2020 in New York City, attended by the FSF Board of Governors and other
industry executives. Complimentary hotel and travel reimbursements will be provided.
Each scholarship recipient is invited to join the FSF Mentor Program and may select an
industry mentor during the year of the award.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT
Winners will have access to internship opportunities through FSF partner companies.
Winners join the FSF Alumni Association for additional professional development.

Garcia & Artigliere Scholarship Program
Each year, Garcia & Artigliere awards a $1,000 scholarship to a student pursuing a career in the
legal or nursing workforce. We are currently accepting submissions for our 2019 scholarship
through October 1, 2019.
In 2017, Garcia & Artigliere awarded a law student at Wake Forest University with a $1,000
scholarship and plans to continue awarding more law school and nursing students.

Montem Outdoor Gear understands the importance of learning and practicing healthy habits,
and have therefore created the Montem Health and Wellness Scholarship for high school,
undergraduate or postgraduate students who are committed to a lifetime of healthy habits.
Who is eligible to apply for the Montem Health and Wellness Scholarship?

The mission of Students with Heart Foundation is to provide financial assistance by means of scholarships
for both undergraduate and graduate students who suffer from all different types of heart disease and
deformities, thus relieving some of the stress from the rough and rigorous journey they will face
throughout college.
Criteria for Scholarship
• Scholarships are awarded per academic year, with possibility of renewal per
subsequent academic years, following the provisions stated below.
• Students who are eligible are in the process of entering college this calendar
year or are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree
program.
• Students in the process of starting College this Academic Year must also
provide a College Acceptance Letter and an Official Schedule for their first
semester, along with their High School Transcripts.
• Application period begins July 1st and ends October 1st. Applications will be
reviewed on a rolling basis.
• All applicants must be participating in a United States Accredited
College/University and maintain a minimum status of part time student (six
credits).
• All applicants must be U.S. Citizens, Nationals or Permanent Residents at the
time of Application.
• Applicants must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 at the time of the
Application.
• Applicants must provide a letter from a LICENSED PHYSICIAN, declaring that the
applicant suffers from any Cardiac disease or deformities.
• All applicants must submit official transcript from current academic institution.
• Students must also provide ONE letter of recommendation from a previous or
current professor.
• All applicants are REQUIRED to submit a personal statement of no more than
2,000 words and no less than 500 words, describing what obstacles they have
had to overcome due to their cardiac disease or deformities.
• All applicants must participate in a personal interview with the President or any
of the other delegated board members, if one is so requested by the Foundation.
• Awardees will be selected by a case by case basis at the President’s discretion,
with accompanied recommendations by acting board members. Students with
more severe cardiac cases will be put at higher priority, however, all students

Student Scholarships
Our merit-based scholarships are awarded twice per year to support and encourage women
studying International Trade and Global Development.
Applicants must identify as female and be currently enrolled at an accredited U.S.
university or college, either full-time or part-time. Applicants must be juniors or seniors
in undergraduate or enrolled in graduate studies.
Awards ($1,500) will be based on the quality of the assigned essay and the applicant's
demonstrated interested in international trade and are made without regard to race, creed,
color, sexual orientation or religion.
Selected winners will receive $1,500 and:
One full year of personal mentorship by a WIIT Trust or a WIIT member.
