To review vocabulary about different foods, appetizers, entries, desserts, beverages and main courses.

Classify the following words

Pie Hot dog Steak Spaghetti Soda French fries Wine Coffee Water

Warm up

Divide the class in two groups. Choose a leader. Look for a specific word and paste

it on the correct picture ( The teacher will guide students)

Instructions

Work in pairs Listen to a dialogue and repeat it Practice with your partner the

short conversation Create your own dialogue Change the names of food and

drinks.

Read along silently as you listen to a natural conversation.

Waiter: Are you ready to order? Or do you need some more

time?

Customer: I´m ready. I think I´ll start with the black bean

soup.Then I´ll have the roast chicken. That comes with salad,

doesn´t it?

Waiter: Yes, it does. And There´s also a choice of vegetables.

Tonight we have carrots or grilled tomatoes.

Customer: The carrots, please.

Waiter: Certainly. Anything to drink?

Customer: I´ll have bottled water, no ice.

Beverages: fruit juices/ bottled water/ coffee /tea.
