How to start Wordpress basics?
WordPress Basics

1.) Head to WordPress.com and click on the sign up now button:

2.) Choose a unique username that will identify you in the WordPress.com community.

3.) Youll need to enter the same password twice, and the little strength bar will tell you if youve chosen a strong password or not.Choosing a Password
4.) Next up, add the email address youd like to associate with your account.Contact Information
5.) Check out the terms of service if youd like to, and tick the appropriate box.Terms of Service
6.) Select whether you want a blog or just a username. Just a username is for people who want to comment on specific WordPress blogs, but not create their own blog.Are You Ready to Blog?
7.) On the next screen, choose a domain name for your first blog.Naming your Blog
8.) Pick a title for your blog. Giving Your Blog a Title
9.) Change your language if the correct one isnt displayed by default.Choose Your Preferred Language
10.) If you want people to be able to find your content via WordPress.com or search engines, make sure that you check the appropriate box. If youre planning on running a private blog, youll want this to be unchecked. Public vs. Private
11.) Click on sign up, and WordPress will send you a confirmation email. Youll need to respond to this to verify that youre human. Almost there!

Try to make it a little more difficult to guess than password or your cats name and remember to write it down and keep track of it!*(youll be able to add others later). *If you cant find the email in your inbox, check your spam or trash folders.
After you click sign up minimize this window, and open a new browser window go to your email and check for the confirmation. If/When you see it click on the link in the email as shown.
12.) If you made a mistake with your email address, you can update it from the same page you used to create your profile.*
