Structure

SPARC (Sparc Performs Automated Reasoning in Chemistry)

Using the molecular structure model gas/particle partitioning coefficient (Kp) is calculated using the formula:

wiomwiom KfKp

wiomK- sorption coefficient calculated with SPARC softvare (ciWIOM/ciair)

wiomf - mass fraction of water insoluble organic matter (wiom) in aerosol (recomended value 40%)

SPARC (Sparc Performs Automated Reasoning in Chemistry)

The model was validated for three types of WIOM polymers

Secondary organic aerosol polymers used in calculations as organic matter surrogate

Conclusion

Predictions for PAHs with carcinogenic, mutagenic and teratogenic properties are close to linear relationship, which means that SPARC model can be used for prediction of partitioning and distribution processes.

The study of partition processes heterogenic system

• air/water• air/soil • water/soil

are in progress.
