Always check thatthe tyre beingfitted is the correctsize and type.

Check to confirmthe size of thewheel and look forany damage.

Repaired tyres ortyres suspected ofrunning flat shouldbe examinedcarefully beforefitting or re-inflating.

Check to establishthe correct tyreinflation pressure.

Airlines should befitted with at least2 metres (6 feet) ofhose between thetyre and airlinecontrol.

Tyres that requiremore than 40 psishould be placed ina secure tyre cageand inflated.

Never leaveunattended anairline which isattached to a tyre.

Don’t lean over, sit,or stand in front ofany tyre duringinflation.

REMEMBER – Wheel nuts must be tightened to the correct torquesetting using a calibrated torque wrench
