Discuss your projects early with CRO’s and be clear about when the

deliverable is required

Communicate with the CRO’s throughout the bid process. Update them on when you will make a decision, ask the CRO to update

you on their capacity to conduct the work.

Prepare all of the materials and info required to conduct the project so they are ready to go as soon as the quote is signed. Any delay will extend the timelines of the project

Plan a comprehensive kick off meeting and get the technical,

commercial and project management teams talking

Listening to the experience of your CRO costs you nothing; ignoring it can cost a lot more. Ask questions and take onboard recommendations

in your decision making.
