To Bishop Holland, our Corporate Officers, our Board of Bishops and the Saints of the Most High God: The officers
of the 58th National Home & Foreign Missionary Convention bring you greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ our
Lord.
It is our sincere privilege and honor to serve Mount Sinai Holy Church in stirring God’s people up in missions. We
desire only to fulfill the will of God and in this we recognize that all believers have been called to the mission field.
Knowing this truth, we also compelled to seek God for “THE NECESSARY INSTRUCTIONS” to complete our
mission in Christ name.
It is our prayer that you will be blessed, encouraged and edified during this convention. With the help of the Lord
we will leave with a renewed desire to proclaim the Gospel to the four corners of the earth.
Peace & Blessings,
The Officers of the 58th National Home & Foreign Missionary Convention
The staff and hosts for this convention have prayerfully worked to make this convention a great success, and for
that I am grateful. My earnest prayer is that every soul is blessed and uplifted during this gathering. May God bless
every preacher, teacher and presenter and every person leave better equipped for the Master’s use.
In His Service,
Bishop Thomas J. Martin, Jr. Corporate Treasurer, MSHCA, Inc.
Home & Foreign Missions Prelate
GREETINGS, To the delegates and staff of the 58thNational Home & Foreign
Missionary Convention. I am truly grateful to God for the opportunity to continue
to be God’s servant in the area of Home and Foreign Missions. God has blessed us
to continue in this work for his glory and we cannot do this without seeking him for
the necessary instructions. When we follow God’s instructions, doors are opened,
and ways are made. When you attempt to do great things for God, he will do great
things for you.
I greet you in the name of the immaculate Lamb of God Jesus the Christ. What a mighty God we serve. I am so
grateful to God for another year’s journey. To God be the glory for the great things He has done. The world is in
chaos and the fight is on. We must pray and allow God to lead us in the right direction. We must not allow ourselves
to become consumed or fascinated with this world’s view, but to pray that we stay focused and in tuned to the voice
and instructions from God. It is always my heart’s desire to see the move of God in our conventions. Let us be
empowered by the Holy Spirit. I pray that you will be blessed as you attend this
convention.
Bishop Grace R. Batten 1st Vice President, MSHCA, Inc.
Presiding Prelate Mid-Atlantic District
Jesus commands us to go and do mission work, “it is the missionary imperative to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, all
Judea, and Samaria and to the end of the Earth”. The world will not be saved if we fail to realize the importance of
missions. There is so much work to be done; will you be willing to be a witness for the Lord? Are you ready to
witness for the Lord my brothers and sisters? Look for every opportunity to be a witness, Jesus is coming. We want
souls saved. We do not want them to miss heaven.
I pray that the Convention be a success and the Spirit of God move within our midst.
Be Blessed,
Bishop John Emanuel Holland Presiding Prelate, MSHCA, Inc.
Southern District Prelate
Great Lakes District Prelate
HOLY GREETINGS, To the Corporate Officers: First Vice President- Bishop
Grace R. Batten, Second Vice President-Bishop Lawrence T. Taylor, Bishop Kenneth
Coward, Bishop Thomas Martin, Jr., Presiding Elder Queen T. Harris and to all the
Saints of the Most-High God,
I greet you in the precious name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As we assemble
in this 58th Home and Foreign Missionary Convention. I want to remind you that
Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and
behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the (very) close
and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be). Matthew 28:19-20 (AMP)
To the Corporate Officers, Bishop John Emanuel Holland, Bishop Lawrence Taylor,
Bishop Kenneth Coward, Bishop Thomas Martin, Jr., and Presiding Elder Queen Harris
and to the Saints,
He has brought us through many trials, and situations and has given us the victory. To this we say, TO GOD BE THE
GLORY! When we think about the past storms, Florence and Michael, that have hit our country, and the
devastation that it has left, we can find a reason to give God praise! We are still alive and well. We realize that it
was because of the prayers of the righteous, that things were not as severe as they could have been.
Lamentations 3: 22 says “It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.”
So, as we plan to enter this coming new year, let us do so with a vigor and determination to give God Glory!
We want to encourage Bishop Thomas Martin, Evangelist Karen Burgess, Missionary Aleta Fonville, their Staff, and
every Missionary that is part of this wonderful organization, that they are doing a marvelous job and to continue in
the work. We want to remind them that their labor is not in vain and that they are having an impact upon this
world.
In Genesis 41: 55 – 57, We find that Joseph was given the awesome responsibility to put in action a plan that
would allow the Egyptians and the people of the land to be able to eat grain during a famine in the land. In order to
do this, Joseph had to listen closely to God and to the King’s dream. During his time of listening he was able to get
the “Necessary Instructions” that he needed to execute a plan that would provide food for seven long years.
God has allowed us this time during this blessed Missionary Convention to fellowship with one another, to
encourage one another, and to receive the “Necessary Instructions” that we need in order to continue to work for
him. So, while we are here let us listen closely to the “Instructions” so that when we leave this place we will feel
strengthen and revitalized, and we can feed the world with the food that will give
nourishment and life to their souls.
Your Most Humble Servant,
Bishop Lawrence L. Taylor 2nd Vice President, MSHCA, Inc.

“LOOK & LIVE” William A. Ogden (1887)
I’ve a message from the Lord, hallelujah!
This message unto you I’ll give,
’Tis recorded in His word, hallelujah!
It is only that you “look and live.”
Refrain:
“Look and live,” my brother, live,
Look to Jesus now, and live;
’Tis recorded in His word, hallelujah!
It is only that you “look and live.”
I’ve a message full of love, hallelujah!
A message, O my friend, for you,
’Tis a message from above, hallelujah!
Jesus said it, and I know ’tis true.
[Refrain]
Life is offered unto you, hallelujah!
Eternal life thy soul shall have,
If you’ll only look to Him, hallelujah!
Look to Jesus who alone can save.
[Refrain]
I will tell you how I came, hallelujah!
To Jesus when He made me whole—
’Twas believing on His name, hallelujah!
I trusted and He saved my soul.
[Refrain]

The work in the Philippines was initiated by the Will of the Lord. The Saints there are
fearlessly declaring Holiness Unto the Lord. They are embracing and are excited about
this common bond to us. The Lord showed himself faithful and provided a way for us to
go. We were in Davao, Philippines from October 9th thru October 23rd, 2018.
In continuation of our desire to encourage our brethren there, I solicit an ongoing stream
of financial help. The Saints there are enthusiastically reaching out into various areas with
the gospel but they need finances to advance their efforts.
I ask that you feel the burden with me to “Help in Macedonia”.
