 We will identify the many different cultures that are part

of Central America.

Based on what we have learned about Central American history, what type of

culture do you see them having?

Based on what we have learned about Central American history, what type of

culture do you see them having?

• We have learned, in the history of Central America, that all of their countries are closely related.

• The Native American and Spanish cultures blend well together in the region of Central America.

• In most of Central America, they speak Spanish, but it is also home to over 80 Native languages, most of which are Mayan languages.

• The religion in Central America is nearly all Catholicism, but in the past years, Protestants and Mormons have become prominent.

• Central America is known for their arts and crafts, such as pottery, weaving, silversmithing and basket making.

• Many of these arts and crafts originated with the Natives in this land.
