7scenes LiveLearn quickly how to run a 7scenes project

Running a 7scenes projectSo now that you’ve created a concept and published a Scene it’s time to run your project. Here are some things to consider:

Events, Promotion,Support,After the Scene.

Events7scenes gives you the option to set up events for which you can invite specific people.

TeamsEvents for multi-player games allow you to set up teams.

EmailEach of the participants receive an email with their invitation.

PromotionLetting people know about your Scene is essential!

Your own channelsUse the means you already have to promote. Think of your website, newsletter, blog, press releases, ..

Scene pagesCreate specific Scene pages on your website and use the Scene Player to embed a map with interactive places.

PromotionSocial MediaUse Facebook, Twitter, etc to let your ‘friends’ know about your Scene. Also ask them to repost so you can create a social ‘echo’.

PrintDon’t rule out physical promotion materials. Flyers, posters, stickers are very effective especially when your Scene is very local and event-based.

TeamInstruct your team so they are ‘ambassadors’ at any time.

PromotionSocialEncourage people to share your Scene, places and their photos with their friends on Facebook and Twitter.

PartnersWhen you work together with partners also use their channels to the fullest.

SupportWhere do people go when they have questions?

Local supportLocal support can mean many things, but mainly: “I want help now!”. You could set up a mobile website with Q&A, have real people help out, a Twitter help desk, etc..

CommunityLet people know that they can post any question to 7scenes.com/support and read more about what others have asked.

After the SceneWhat happens after playing?

EmailAll players receive an email thanking them for playing with a link to the Scene.

PlaybackAll players can log in at 7scenes.com and play back their GPS trace and see their interaction with places.

After the SceneClosingWhen your Scene plays in on actualities you have the option to set the publish state of your Scene to ‘closed’. Now people can not play it anymore.

Reviews & StatsAll players have the option to leave reviews. Check the reviews to see what they think and check how many have played your Scene.
