Safe Environments: As a Roman Catholic Community we want to have environments where everyone is safe
from abuse. Priests, staff & volunteers (who have regular contact with even 1 minor child) are required to have
Clearances and Virtus Training. We are also required to report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior. If
you have any suspicion about the sexual abuse (or any other type of abuse) of a minor child by anyone, please
contact PA Childline immediately at 1-800-932-0313. If the alleged abuser is functioning in a parish, school or
diocesan position as clergy, religious, paid staff or volunteer you are also requested to contact the Bishop’s
Delegate for Matters of Sexual Misconduct after you have called the Childline number and made the
report. The Bishop’s Delegate may be reached at 724-837-0901, Ext. 1221. Your actions help keep our envi-

SUMMER THEATRE OPPORTUNITY Saint Vincent Summer Theatre in Latrobe is putting on Beauty & the Beast, the timeless classic tale of the prince turned beast and all of his house-hold turned in seemingly inanimate living creatures. All await true loves kiss to break the spell and bring them all back to humans. The show will run from June 27-July 7, 2019, excluding July 1& 4. An added attraction is that during the week of July 4th Veterans & Active Military Personnel get in free. Also, group rates could apply saving $2.00 per ticket. We could carpool from our neighborhoods and get a nice size group together, then add in any military or vets that wanted to go. We need a base group of 20 people to get the group rate. This could be a nice evening enjoy-ing Summer Theatre and honoring those who are sworn to protect us.
No money right now, lets just get a number. Tickets run from $16-24 depending on the size of the group and which day is chosen. If you’re interested call and leave a message at the parish office or drop an email to jmosser@dioceseofgreensburg.org.

REFLECTION: HAPPY EASTER!
Happy Easter! Or as most other languages prefer: Blessed Pasch--Passover! Pasqua, Pascua, Páscoa, Pâques! Israel’s Passover through the Red Sea to the Promised Land! Jesus’ Passover through the Cross to resurrection! Our catechumens’ Passover last night, and ours once upon a time, through Baptism’s waters to our family’s Eucharist! Welcome, everybody! As someone once said of the Catholic Church, “Here comes every-body!” So in this Jubilee of Mercy, we make our own Saint John Chrysostom’s Easter welcome from fourteen hundred years ago: “Let everyone enjoy this radiant feast! You who fasted from Lent’s beginning, and you who didn’t fast at all, rejoice! The table’s richly set! Come, take from it, everybody, no worries, no embarrassment! All of you, taste the banquet of faith! Enjoy the feast of forgiveness! Let no one grieve for having sinned again and again: pardon has risen from the tomb!” Happy Easter! Blessed Pasch! Welcome, everybody! Copyright (c) J. S. Paluch Co.
