A Is For Attacking Birds
• In 2009 the “state of birds’’ report said every year domestic cats kill millions of birds which is part of the reason why 800 species of birds are endangered.
B Is for Balance From The Tail
• Cats can use their tails for balance.
C Is For Cat
FUN FACT Most people think cats and dogs are colorblind but, in fact cats can see most all colors and dogs can see a few colors.
D is For Dangerous Behavior
• Cats relatives are known as ‘’Big Cats” they are animals like Pumas, Lions, Tigers, and Leopards.
E is For Eating Food
All cats are carnivores.
F Is For Furry Friends
• If you take care of a cat it can lives 20 years.
G Is for Going To The Litter Box
• A basic rule for cats is a minimum of one litter box per cat ,plus one so if you have 3 cats you own use 3 litter boxes.
H Is For Hairballs
Cats have hairballs when they groom themselves and swallow a large amount of fur.

• Continuous scratching can mean earmites, which feed on blood, dead skin. They usually usually feed near the ear canal.

The roughness on cats tongues actually comes from tiny sharp hairs to help them drink and eat.

• On average cats sleep 2/3 of the day. 2/3 of the day is 16 hours. The recommended amount of sleep for humans are 8-10 hours.

• Cats don’t sleep in large amounts of time like humans. Cats usually sleep in 20 min. increments creating the phrase “cat naps”

• Cats don’t scratch to make you mad, they do it to get there energy out.

• Cavemen proudly owned cats for their hunting rats and mice.

• It has no hair• It is found in Ukraine• It is one of the few
hairless known cats along with the widely known Sphynx Bambino, Minskin ,and Peterbald.
V Is For Vision In The Dark
• Cats have much better night vision than humans ,but have much worse day-vision.
W Is For Water To Drink
• A cat does not need to drink very much water daily. They only need 5-10 fluid ounces of water a day.
X Marks The Spot. Cats Mark Their Territory
• Cats mark there territory by releasing a scent that tells other felines that is their area.

Surprisingly, cats frequently have arthritis pain as they get older and older.

• The average cat can run up to about thirty MPH.
