The Middle School students of Santa Fe School for the Arts & Sciences studied the Immigrant Experience. Each student interviewed an immigrant and learned about his/her journey, in the process came to understand more deeply how U.S. foreign and immigration policy affects people's lives. The 7th grade students wrote and illustrated children's books with characters who immigrated to the United States.
