A Guide To Artificial Grass

Tennis Court & Maintenance..

The synthetic grass court made out of densely

tufted polypropylene that provides superior

traction to foot while playing…

A proper

ratio of

polyethylene

to sand offers

a consistency

in medium

paced ball

bounce and

excellent

stability…

Over a period of time a number of factors can affect the surface and

can cause damage to it….

Well first the environmental issues can damage the grass mitting

material or the sand filler etc…

The development of moss and algae also makes the

surface dormant and slippery…

The Problem in surfaces also affected by airborne

pollutants, vegetation, animal waste, vermin etc…

Deteriorated loose sand makes the court faster with un-adjustable

footing ….

How To combat the Problem……

For moss and other problems….

• Use moss killer on the surface followed by weeds killer to

resist the growth of algae …..

• Use a mechanical brushing system that will remove all the dead moss and

debris from court…

• After that use a drag brush to redistribute the sand and that will give a perfect

finish to your court….

What Are The Potential Causes of these issues ….

Problem in mainly used

areas….

The baseline areas, ridges, uneven playing surfaces, hard glazed

areas etc…. Can create a slippery surface and cause safety issues

to players..

The inadequate drainage system in the court or

outside areas of the court can affect the surface…

Air Pollution ::

The airborne hydrocarbon pollutants can stick to the surface and makes it slippery and dangerous for players..
