Mt. 25: 31- 46- The Last Judgment

“I assure you, as often as you did it for one for one of My least brothers, you did it for Me.”

neglected to do it for one of these least ones, you

neglected to do it for me.”

yours, they are for the poor. The slippers and clothes not used are

not yours, they are the poor’s.”- St. Basil the

Human beings having been created with

intellect and a conscience are moral beings.

All people will be judged according

to the moral deeds they have done

during their earthly life.

Jesus teaches that the only condition for entry to God’s Kingdom is action on behalf of those most deprived of human dignity.

Our final destination will depend on the kind of life we have lived on

earth.

Conscience-The proximate rule of moral action

-Resides in the mind and proposes to the will the morality of a given course of action.

ConscienceDictate of Conscience - A practical judgment of reason concerning whether an action or attitude is good or sinful, right or wrong, moral or immoral.

LOVE is the common denominator to the formation of proper

conscience and following the dictates

of conscience.

It is not enough that we KNOW what

ought to be done. We have to DO what

ought to be done.
