They are famous for their U-Pick strawberries as well as their asparagus, which you will see in most local stores in the spring season. Lutz Farms is open in May, and they are open daily except on Sunday. Located north of Manistee, Douglas Valley is more than just a wine and cider tasting house, they feature over 100 Michigan made products. However, they specialize in two U-Pick items in apples and pumpkins. Bring the family for the entire day and enjoy walking around this beautiful farm. Located in Kaleva, Michigan, Wave’s U-Pick features a great crop of pesticide-free blueberries. In addition to the blueberries, they also feature other vegetables including corn, canning tomatoes, and peppers.
