With his friend RAJ BAHADUR he got help financially to join in cinema and raj was his co worker in BTS.

Raj helped him to join in Adayar Film Institute..

He entered as HERO in Mullum Malarum movie 1978 by J.MAHENDRAN.

He married LATHA RANGACHARI whom he met during an survey on February 26, 1981.

He got married at the age of 31 in tirupathi.He have 2 daughters aishwarya rajinikanth,
