About Skeppshult

HeritageIt all began in 1906 when Carl E. Anderson

returned from the USA full of inspiration and

knowledge of the foundry industry. Carl E.

Anderson settled in Skeppshult, located in

southern Sweden, to establish the foundry.

Many things have changed since the founding,

but the tradition, knowledge, artisanship and

values remain. Today, Skeppshults Gjuteri is

the sole remaining foundry in Scandinavia to

produce household goods in cast iron.
