Integrasi S2-S3 Biologi (PMDSU) Program kualifikasi unggul Kemenristek Dikti perlu pembenahan system pengelolaan Program Studi. Mahasiswa lulus S1 dapat langsung melanjutkan jenjang Program Doktor tanpa harus mengikuti Program Magister terlebih dahulu. Persyaratan adalah sebagai berikut: 1. Lulus dengan predikat cumlaude atau dengan indek prestasi > 3,5 2. Direkomendasikan oleh calon dosen pembimbing utama/promotor 3. Memiliki rencana penelitian yang telah disepakati oleh calon tim pembimbing 4. Disetujui oleh Komisi Program Pascasarjana (KPPS) SITH
Lulusan berprestasi tinggi dari Program Sarjana dapat diterima untuk mengikuti Program Doktor tanpa harus menyelesaikan Program Magister terlebih dahulu. Dalam hal terakhir ini, mahasiswa harus menyelesaikan 76 sks.
Integrasi S2-S3 Biologi Mahasiswa Program Magister Biologi dapat mengikuti Program Integrasi S2-S3 Biologi dengan ketentuan: 1. Tugas akhir tidak perlu diambil pada akhir studi Magister (S2), melainkan diganti dengan mata kuliah pilihan
untuk memenuhi kebutuhan 36 SKS. 2. Mata kuliah Penulisan Proposal Penelitian Doktor tidak harus diambil karena: (i) mahasiswa telah mengambil
mata kuliah BI5001 Perancangan Penelitian, dan (ii) Penelitian Doktor yang akan dilaksanakan merupakan hasil pengembangan dari penelitian yang sedang dikerjakan pada Program Magister Biologi.
3. Pembimbing penelitian pada program magister diupayakan menjadi ketua/anggota tim pembimbing Program Doktor
Syarat-syarat untuk mengikuti Program Integrasi S2-S3Biologi: 1. Telah menyelesaikan semester II pada Program Studi Magister 2. Memiliki Indek Prestasi ≥ 3,5 3. Memiliki penampilan penelitian yang baik (rekomendasi pembimbing penelitian S2) 4. Topik penelitian S2 telah dikembangkan menjadi penelitian S3 5. Direkomendasikan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan jenjang S3 oleh pembimbing penelitian S2 6. Direkomendasi oleh calon ketua Tim pembimbing dan penelitian sudah dikembangkan menjadi rencana
penelitian Doktor 7. Mahasiswa yang dinyatakan diterima bisa langsung mengikuti Ujian Kualifikasi bagi pendidikan S3
