Acknowledge Success • Recognize everyone who contributed

to your health & safety program and

met company standards

• Include recognition in performance appraisal

• Congratulatory letter from owner/sr manager

• Highlight in company newsletter

• Post results of observations, surveys etc.

• Include commendations in annual meeting

Make Improvements• When evaluation indicates the need for

improvement, use co-operative approach

to improve your company’s performance.

Objectives may include:

• Raise performance to company standard

• Raise company standards and expectations

• Improve application of health and safety

management system.

issues identified through evaluation – distracted or

drowsy driving

in comparison to previous years
