Relationships is an exhibition of ceramics and paintings, intuitively created by Adela Friedmann.

“While writers use letters of the alphabet to express themselves, I use mixed media or clay,” writes Friedmann.

“I am interested in painting what I am thinking. I am convinced that there is an eternal spirit in the makeup of humankind and the animal kingdom, and I am keen to capture this essence in my works.

I create layers of marks and colours that interact with one another in the same way that people do in their relationships.

Investigating the joyous potential in ceramic art, I shape animals, figurines, flowers, people and objects that emerge from my subconscious out of clay. They become eternal pieces to me.”
