+Definition

A word that describes or modifies a noun or pronoun

It answers one of the following questions:What kind?Which one?How many?

+Types of Adjectives

Opinion (Quality, Feelings) Size Number Age Temperature Measurement Colour Nationality or origin Substance or material

+Location

Adjectives can be placed before nouns Eg. Sheila is a beautiful girl.

Adjectives after non-action verbs Eg. Sheila looks pretty.

Order: Opinion, size, age, shape, colour, origin, material,
