Goal 7: Ensure Environmental Sustainability Target 9: Integrate the principles of sustainable development
into country policies and programmes to reverse the loss of environmental resources

Governance is the outcome, while is the formal apparatus for administering system effectively
E government is the application of ICTs for providing services to citizens
E governance is a broader term which encompasses a wide range of relationships between government and the citizenry

Form region specific groups. Each group will choose any one sector of development and discuss how this relates to other development sectors. Identify a specific programme you will develop. Elaborate in terms of overall programme aims and specific objectives that the programme will use to achieve its objective. Will ICTs help/hinder the programme planning and implementation? Defend your decision to other participants at the workshop
