Distance Between ATCT and Runway center line (exiting and future) is 800 m

Hence, maximum allowable ATCT height= 800 m ÷ 7 = 114.285 m

ATCT eye level(FAA, USA)Criteria

0.8 degree of line of sight angle incidence which allows ATCT personnel to achieve detection and recognition of object.ATCT eye level = D x tan 0.8 ; D ≈2500 m

= 34.9 m (reference: furthest r/w)

34.9 m is within the allowable height of 114.285 m.

Max ATCT height will be 38.9 m (34.9 m + 4 m (eye to roof top)

PTBATCT

ATCT can be viewed from 360 degree except from the direction of PTB since PTB is blocking the view.

ConclusionATCT Height 38.9 m could be considered.

The building (hanger, cargo, etc.) height to be limited not to obstruct line of sight between ATCT and respective spot.

If building height can not be limited for bigger aircraft hanger, such building to be located in the clear zone which is bounded by the straight lines from ATCT to two ends of nearest taxiways.
