To celebrate the opening of Scottish Ballet’s new production of Alice, we held afternoon tea parties in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Over 140 ladies and gentlemen took part in a beginners’ ballet class, watched a sharing by our senior performance group Regenerate and enjoyed a talk on Alice while relaxing with a cup of tea and cake. Photography and coming of age are the main themes in Alice, and so we invited participants to bring along a picture of themselves and a quote expressing the wisdom we wished we had all had as young people.
