AIM for Seva
ENABLING LIFE-READY CHILDHOODSEDUCATION IS ONLY THE BEGINNING
• Started in 2000 by Swami Dayananda Saraswati •14,000 students educated living in Free Student Homes (FSHs) • Non-profit Organization under IRS 501(c)(3)
Why focus on FSHs, and not on building schools?
• Existing schools under - utilized• Too far from most villages• Does not address complete upbringing of children
Each FSH is a home awayfrom home - Plus• Access – Located within 10-15 kms from homes - keeping
family connections• Personal Supervision – Supervisors know the unique
needs of each child and keeps in touch with parents• Academic Assistance – books, uniforms, shoes, after-
school tutoring , parent/teacher meetings etc• Health Care – regular medical and dental care• Value Education & Personality development programs • Computer literacy• Extra-curricular Activities – sports, yoga, gardening, folk
arts & music, stage plays

What is unique about AIM for Seva?
• Take a child of 8 and provide 8-10 years of care and supervision
• The child grows to be educated, confident, healthy and productive
• AIM for Seva takes them to the finish line!
Signs of Achievements
• Educational Success ( >90% Pass rate in board exams; >60% go for Higher education/training after class 12)
• Target (51% of children are from SC/ST communities)
• Efficiency (overhead costs < 10% of budget)• Reach (community Impacted >10 million ; 10%
of the targeted population)

Please sponsor a child for one year
• $450 (after tax $1 per day) provides for all expenses for a child for 1 full year. Includes, food, clothing, medical, school and tuition fees & extra curricular activities
• $3,400 ACE (AIM for Seva Child Education Endowment ) ensures continued support for a child for 8-10 years
• In comparison, US boarding schools cost $45,000
Build a new FSH
• Leave a legacy• FSH is named after you or your loved one• Home for 50 children!• Select the state and district of your choosing• $100,000; after tax $70,000 (you can pay in
installments )• $14,000 / year for 5 years (after tax) • Family members can honor the memory of parent(s)
