Bronx Courtyard

• Recently Almost Perfect Landscaping of Bergen County was awarded a contract for a unique courtyard set within the Bronx, New York City. This courtyard was comprised of a paved area set within theinside of a condominium project building. Within the courtyard were square concrete molds in the shape/form of planter boxes. These planters were of various sizes from 7' x 12', 12' x 15', 15' x 17' to 14' x 17'.

• I wanted to allow more light within the garden so I would have more of a selection of plant material that would flower.

Shadier areas usually show more for their shades of greens than true color. Each box needed a framing plant or center piece. Tree

Hydrangea and Rhododendron was the plants I choose.
