Amy Winehouse

The Queen of Soul

Ramón Mirón Martínez 4ºA

Amy Jade Winehouse was born on September 14, 1983 in

London. Amy received her first guitar at age thirteen and began writing a year later. She

began acting in unfamiliar pubs of London, until a friend gave him some of her songs to a productor, beginning her career

with 16. Their first album was called ”Frank”, released in 2003,

receiving critical acclaim.

But her worldwide success began with their second album, “Back To Black”, with which he won numerous awards. The fame did to

start taking drugs and going to decline gradually. Amy Winehouse died

on July 23, 2011 with only 27 years, every reason to believe he suffered an overdose

of the drug and alcohol intake.
