What is YCI?
YCI is a work and life skills programme.
It helps vulnerable young people from disadvantaged backgrounds improve their employability.

24 week training programme.
Students train in 15 areas of the hotel.
60% practical training, 40% classroom-based learning.

Hotels Provide
A 24 week training schedule utilising their existing training courses as well as YCI materials.
Classroom training: customer services, English lessons, career development etc.
Teaching and mentoring students.
Offering job placements if possible.
Coordination with non-profit partner, other participating hotels and YCI team.
