-Small images are used to give the reader extra to look at and advertise.- There is a clear

Uncut Contents page
-There is one big image on the contents page which attracts the reader, and there is a small bit of text which explains what the article is going to be about. -The content page is divided up into sections.Including – news, Radar, reviews, live and features There is an advertisement at the bottom of the page for a subscription. The yellow coloured text is eye-catching to the reader. - The regular layout in each
magazine are the title‘nme’ and ‘this week also the bad index and the box in the corner of the page ‘ The IK’s No1 gig guide starts’ which is in every issue.
NME Contents page
- The main image is centred in the middle of the page so catches the readers attention to the main featured article. - The regular layout in each
magazine is the month and year ‘January 2013’, the main image in the middle and the page numbers at the bottom.
- The colour scheme is constant throughout except from the red text to highlight an article that is most important.
- The layout of the contents page is quite simple as there is no advertisements or extra bits of detail that would catch a readers attention.
The Fly Contents page
- There is a constant colour scheme of red and white running throughout. - The main picture is
the main feature of this contents page, this attracts the reader as to what the main article is.
- The features run along the side of the page, the title is underlined and in bold so it stands out.
