Endoplasmic Reticulum • It transports proteins made by

ribosomes ( reminds me of a Bus).

Ribosomes• Makes protein (reminds me of a beauty

marks).

Mitochondrion• Provides energy from the cell (reminds

me of electricity).

Golgi Body/Golgi • Packages, and distributes of protein

(reminds me of UPS).

Cell membrane• Monitors and controls entry into and

out of the cell (reminds me of security).

Lysosomes

• Break down all of the old and unneeded parts of the cell (reminds me of a garbage can).

Cytoplasm• Fluid that fills the cell ( reminds me of

jello salad).

Jello Salad

Nucleus• Holds the genetic information (DNA)

for the cell.

Nucleus memory• Controls what get’s in and out of the

nucleus (reminds me of guards).

Cell Wall• A tough, flexible layer that surrounds

some types of cells (reminds me of a wall)

Vacuole• A cavity in the cytoplasm of a cell,

bound by a single membrane and containing water, food, or metabolic waste. ( reminds me of a refrigerator).

Chloroplast• An Organelle found in plant and algae

cells where photosynthesis occurs. ( reminds me of green mint).
