OFFICE ORDER
The Competent Authority constituted a National Core Group under the Chairmanship of Dr. J. C. Katyal, Vice Chancellor, CCSHAU, Hisar vide even No. office order dated 26.07.2007 for (i) defining names and curricula of Masters’ and Ph.D. disciplines for uniformity and (ii) revision of syllabi for courses of Masters’ and Ph.D. degree disciplines. On the recommendations of the National Core Group, the Director General is pleased to constitute following 18 Broad Subject Matter Area Committees for assisting the National Core Group for restructuring of Masters’ and Doctorate Course Curricula and Syllabi. 1. The composition of the Committees is given in Annexure I. Expenditure on TA/DA and sitting allowance, as per ICAR rules, towards those members of the BSMA committees who are from the ICAR Institutes and Agricultural Universities will be borne by the respective Institute/University; and towards the non-official members (outside ICAR system or Agricultural Universities) will be met out of the Plan Budget of the sub-scheme ‘Accreditation Board’ of the Scheme “Strengthening and Development of Agricultural Education” of ICAR. The Agricultural University will meet the expenditure out of the Development Grant provided by the ICAR.
