ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR OUR 2020 SINGLES’ FALL CAMP RETREAT • Online registration for our 2020 Singles’ Fall Camp Retreat will continue through Friday, September 11.• The retreat will be held at Camp Joy in Whitewater, Wisconsin, on Friday and Saturday, September 18 & 19, and is open to all FBC singles ages 18 to 49.• The cost is $100 per person, which includes supper on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday, overnight accommodations, and camp activities such as archery, zip lining, camp games, etc.• Online registration is available at conferences.fbchammond.com; please contact Eddie Lapina’s office at the church with any questions.

ANNUAL RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE• Our annual American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held today, August 23, from 12:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. in Building T. • If you have scheduled an appointment, please be on time. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred!• The Red Cross is offering a $5 Amazon gift card for completed blood donations.
HAMMOND BAPTIST SCHOOLS’ MEETING FOR PARENTS• Bro. James Woosley will conduct a meeting tonight after the service for all parents of current and prospective students of Hammond Baptist Schools regarding the 2020-21 school year. • This meeting is concerning our procedures to support a safe return to in-person, on-campus learning and will be held in the Main Auditorium after the evening service is dismissed. • Parents of current students and those desiring more information about our schools are invited and encouraged to attend.
FBC MINISTRY IN-SERVICE MEETING• There will be a First Baptist Church Ministry In-Service Meeting this Monday, August 24, for all FBC ministry employees.• This meeting will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Jack Hyles Memorial Auditorium, and lunch will be provided.• There will be a pizza and bowling activity at the Stardust Bowl in Dyer from 5:00-8:00 p.m.• Spouses are invited and encouraged to attend the entire day, and dress is business casual; children are welcome in the evening.• For questions, contact the Ministry Personnel Office at the church.
